Hey Julie and Jillian!

 

Just wanted to let you kow that I accepted a dental assistant position at a general dentist's office in Herkimer, NY and I LOVE it!!!!

There is only 5 of us in the office, it's so small and "personal". The other employees are so friendly and so nice to work with and the Dr. is awesome! I couldn't have ever asked for a better boss.

 

I just started this week and it's been great, the Dr. constantly says that he is pleasantly surprised at how much I learned attending your school. He was very happy and surprised with my x-ray taking skills! I am learning more each hour that I am there, but I've already assisted extractions and restorations. It was so wonderful having the skills that you both gave me, I walked in and immediately started cleaning rooms, taking xrays, assisting and taking care of instruments. The Dr. has been very happy with all of my knowledge and is so willing to help me expand.

 

Again, I have to thank you both so much for everything. I love what I do and I love walking into the office, it is a complete joy all day long. It was so nice to walk into a job  and already be familiar with so many things.
